Switch the mode of the roster builder depending on the task at hand
The roster builder features a variety of modes which change the way it displays information. From your standard shift creation through to fixing up alerts, each mode has its specific strengths. Switching the mode is done in the roster header bar.
Default
The default is the standard, shift-based mode. Best used for the majority of rosters upon creation.
Compliance
Compliance mode offers a look at all of the current issues in your roster, some by default (clashes) and others based on the rules set up by your company in Ento. This summary page allows you to quickly and easily see where all of the issues are and resolve them, to have a clean, compliant roster.
Costing
Costing Mode provides a quick way of assessing and comparing costs on your roster with a view to removing unnecessary costs. Select earning rates in your costing vitals to be highlighted on a roster so that you can easily spot where they're occurring and adjust your roster to be the most cost efficient.
Demand
The Demand mode adds an extra row header to the default mode, displaying graphs of your demand/sales goals as set out in Company Settings. These settings must be turned on for Demand mode to appear as an option.
You can click this header to display further information and graphs in the information panel. The graph displayed on the schedule itself is for your headcount. Red bars will appear either over and under the central bar, indicating whether you're over or under scheduled throughout the day. Your aim is to get all of those bars as close to the middle as possible. In the panel itself, you get a larger version of the graph, then comparisons to the headcount forecast throughout the day, along with a graph of your projected sales.
