There's so much more you can do in Ento! Here's a few more features you may find useful.
Depending on your permission settings, you may not have all of these features available.
Sending messages
The send message feature is a convenient, fast and easy way to disseminate information to multiple employees. Employees receive messages via SMS or email and can reply with their own updates which get sent to your Core HR >
and email inbox. Popular ways clients use it include:- Greeting messages
- Instant updates during large events
- Unique shift reminders and instructions
- Employee birthdays/other life events
- Urgent/last minute updates and shift changes
To send a message, navigate to Core HR >Messages support page.

Reporting
Reports can be accessed from the
sub-menu of each menu in Ento. Each report will generally have filters at the top which you can change then refresh the graph and table by clicking the Filter button.
The table and graph can also be exported using the 'Table' and 'Graph' buttons at the top of the page, and this will export exactly how the information is currently being filtered.

Fill-in finder
The fill-in finder can be found while working on any published schedule. Has someone dropped a shift on a_schedule you have published? Need to add a shift last minute and see who can fill it in? With a few clicks, we can help suggest the best available employees, contact them, receive their response and allocate them to the shift; without you needing to pick up the phone.
To start a new fill-in request, create a shift without an employee assigned (this is easiest in role view) on a published schedule.
Click the small person icon to launch the fill-in finder window. Or, when creating the shift, select 'Use fill-in finder' in the employee field.
There are two ways you can assign shifts via the fill-in finder. You can either have a manager approve the final selection, or have shifts allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Next just select the employees you want to contact, customise the offer message and click Send.
Each of the employees will be contacted, and you will be notified as they respond. If you’ve chosen to have a manager approve final selection, you must go back in and assign an employee who has replied positively to the message, and have the system contact the others telling them the shift has been filled.
If you’ve selected the ‘first come, first served’ option, the system will notify the first employee to respond that they have secured the shift, as well as notifying the others that the shift has been filled.

Discussions
The Core HR > Communication > Discussions area can be used for announcements, and to have open discussions with your employees and co-managers.
To create a new discussion, click the + button at the top of the page. When creating a new discussion, you can be specific about who can see it. For example, if you want to discuss ideas for a new menu item, you might only discuss with employees that have the 'Kitchen' or 'Dining' role (and save the security guards from all the talk about changing the main dish from beef to chicken).
Particularly important discussions or announcements can be marked 'Sticky'. This will ensure they always show at the top of the discussion list. You might ‘sticky’ important topics like dress codes and other company policies.
For a full guide on discussions, check out the Discussions support page.
Files
The Core HR > Communication > Files area can be used to store files for download by employees and co-managers when they login. You might want to upload important information such as training manuals, menus, or even the embarrassing Christmas-party photos!
To upload new file, click the + button at the top of the page. Like discussions, files can be targeted at specific employees and managers, along with being marked as 'Sticky'.
For a full guide on files, go to the Files support page.
